Women's suit sets
A Forcast suit set is a blazer, jacket or vest with a matching pant or skirt, cut from the same fabric so the pieces read as a suit on Monday and as separates for the rest of the week. Each piece is sold on its own, so you can shop the set in one go, or buy the blazer now and add the pant later.
Choosing your suit
A single-breasted blazer with a straight or wide leg pant is the classic corporate suit and the most versatile place to start. A double-breasted blazer reads more formal and pairs well with a slim or straight pant. A blazer with a pencil skirt is the sharpest option for client-facing days. Collarless and cropped jackets, like the Nikki Collarless Crop Jacket, suit a softer office and work over a dress as well as with the matching pant.
Fabric and fit
You can tell a well-made suit by how it sits: clean seams, shoulders and lapels lying flat, and fabric that holds its shape without pulling or sagging. Our suiting is a blend with a little stretch, so the jacket sits close through the shoulder and the pant recovers after a day at the desk. Sizes run 4 to 18, and because the pieces are separates you can size each one to your own proportions.
Styling a set
Worn together, a suit is the answer when you do not know what to wear. Keep it from feeling heavy with a simple tank or a fine knit underneath rather than a stiff shirt. A tailored vest with its pant, such as the Westwood Tailored Vest and Westwood Elastic Waist Pants, is the warm-weather version of the same idea. Split the set and the blazer goes over jeans, while the trousers go with anything in your work tops drawer.
How to shop it
Decide on the bottom half first. Most sets pair with straight pants or wide leg pants, with pencil and tailored skirt options for formal offices. For the full formal edit, see classic corporate; check the size guide before ordering each piece.
