Slim pants are the neatest trouser in the Forcast range, cut close through the hip and thigh and narrowing towards the ankle without being skin tight. They suit women who want a tidy line under a jacket or a looser top, at work and beyond. The collection runs from size 4 to 18.

What is in the range

Most of the collection is tailored for the office, in styles such as the Taylor Slim Pants and the Karlie Slim Fit Trousers. The Zeny Slim Fit Cropped Pant finishes above the ankle, while the Wren Check Slim Pant brings a pattern into a largely plain range. If you want a little more room at the hem, the Hunter Slim Straight Pants sit between a slim and a straight leg.

What to wear with them

A narrow leg takes volume on top well. A longer work blazer, an oversized shirt from shirts and blouses, or a chunky piece from knitwear all sit cleanly over a slim pant. Full-length styles work with a heel, a loafer or a flat; cropped styles are the ones to show with an ankle boot.
