Jeans
Women's jeans
Forcast jeans are made for the days the suiting pants stay on the hanger: casual Fridays, weekends and travel. The range runs from skinny and straight through barrel leg, wide leg, bootcut and flared, with high-waisted, belted and cropped styles among them, all in sizes 4 to 18. They are cut with the same attention to fit as the rest of the range, which is what lets them work in a business casual office as well as out of it.
Choosing a cut
Skinny jeans, like the Lesley Skinny Jean, are the narrowest and sit neatly under long tops and jackets. Straight and boyfriend cuts, such as the Alex Boyfriend Jeans, are easier through the leg and a little relaxed. Barrel leg styles, including the Leighton Barrel Leg Jeans and the Bondi Barrel Leg Jeans, curve out through the thigh and taper in at the ankle. Bootcut and flared jeans, like the Merith Bootcut Jeans and the Astrid Flared Jeans, open out at the hem and lengthen the leg, while the Carmen Wide Leg Jeans and Kallie Denim Culotte are the fullest and the Rosario Cropped Flare Jeans finish above the ankle.
Waist and details
High-waisted jeans such as the Aubri High-Waisted Jeans hold a tucked top in place and sit well under a cropped jacket. The Jael Belted Jeans come with their own belt, the Ximenna Pin Tuck Jean has a pressed seam down the front that reads more like a trouser, and the Rome Frayed Washing Jean has a raw hem. The Kaley Lyocell Denim Trousers are cut more like a trouser than a jean, which makes them the easiest pair to wear into a business casual office.
What to wear them with
For work, keep the top half tailored: a blazer from jackets and blazers over a shell or shirt, with a loafer or heel. On the weekend, a T-shirt or knit and flats is enough. Wide and barrel legs want a closer top, while skinny and straight cuts carry a longer, looser one. A belt finishes a high-waisted pair.
How to shop it
Sizes run 4 to 18. If you are between sizes, check the size guide before you choose, and think about hem length against the shoes you wear most. For the rest of the denim range see denim, and for tailored alternatives see pants.
