Women's rings

A ring is the smallest change you can make to an outfit and one of the most noticed, because hands are always in view. The Forcast range covers plain bands, open and loop rings, chain rings, mixed metal styles and statement pearl rings, in gold plated and sterling silver finishes. They are chosen to sit with the rest of our jewellery and with workwear, so a ring that goes on with a blazer stays on for dinner.

Choosing a ring

A slim band is the everyday option: it goes on every finger and sits under every cuff. Styles that come in both sterling silver and mixed metal are the ones to buy if you wear both finishes, because they bridge the two. An open ring gives a little room, which helps if you are between sizes.

Statement rings, including the Luna Pearl Statement Ring and the Pearl Mirage Statement Ring, are worn one at a time, on the hand without a watch. Keep the other hand plain or limit it to a single fine band.

How to stack

Stack two or three slim rings on one finger, in one metal, and leave the neighbouring fingers bare. A chain style such as the Wonder Chain Ring adds movement to a stack without adding bulk. Mixed metal rings let you wear a gold plated bracelet with silver earrings without the combination looking accidental.

Rings at work

With a shirt cuff or a blazer, rings and a slim bracelet are the jewellery that shows most, so a considered pair does more than a necklace hidden under a collar. A pearl ring lifts a plain knit or a dark suit without reading as dressy. If you are building a set, start with the metal you wear most and add one point of contrast.

How to shop the range

Work out your size on the finger you intend to wear the ring on, and size up if you sit between two; our size guide has the measurements. Browse by finish in the Gold Edit and the Silver Edit, or shop pearl styles together in the Pearl Edit. If you want the full picture, pair your choice with necklaces in the same metal.
