Area Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and inspirational leader to join our team as an Area Manager. Reporting to the Senior Management Team, the Area Manager will oversee 11-15 stores. This is a challenging and fast paced role that requires dedication and determination to achieve success, you will need to roll up your sleeves and be hands on across all aspects of our retail stores, leading your teams by example and taking your area to the next level.


The role will be to provide leadership, targets, quality and exceptional customer experience through a professional and driven management team while assuring the profitable and innovative management of their sites. 

As Area Manager your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

·         Accountability for the area financials, sales, wages and shrinkage targets for the   group-manage allocated budgets in order to ensure profitable state performance

·         Ensure stores are achieving/exceeding sales targets and budgets

·         Motivate and encourage, guide, mentor and develop personalities and teams

·         Ensure highest standards of customer service through ongoing brand/product and customer service training to the team

·         Manage stock control results and enforcing store policies and procedures

·         Drive store KPI's through effective communication of business objectives

·         Drive CRM across all stores to further improve customer retention and loyalty

·         Enhancing stock consolidations and suggesting promotional opportunities based on a sound understanding of the customer base in the region

·         Report as required on all operational indexes (sales, budget, labour costs, stock, service etc.)

·         Identify and rectify operational issues that may impact sales, safety or brand equity, providing and implementing operational solutions to constantly improve the future of the business

·         Promote and ensure a safe, productive, respectful and happy workplace

·         Human Resources -Recruit, train, mentor and provide feedback to Store Managers to ensure the highest levels of competency and performance -supporting the store manager across recruitment, rostering, performance management and any other HR related topic

·         Working closely on VM to ensure high visual merchandising standards to maximize sales potential

·         Ongoing communication with senior management to ensure business is operating effectively

·         Other Duties & Responsibilities

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

·         4+ years Cluster Manager or  2+ years experience in an Area Management role for a fashion retailer

·         Ability to keep calm under pressure

·         Strong selling and customer service skills and leads by example

·         An eye for styling and detail to up hold our high visual merchandising standards

·         The ability to inspire, drive, motivate, build and maintain strong relationships with your team.

·         A capacity to prepare rosters costed to achieve store budgets

·         The ability to analyse and organize stock to maximize sales on the shop floor

·         Desire to challenge yourself to achieve company and personal objectives

·         Highly motivated and self-driven

·         Has an in-depth understanding of various retail KPI's and an analytical mind.

.         A valid driver's license as travelling is a requirement

We are looking for a highly proactive and creative Graphic Design and eCommerce Intern to join our Head Office team located in Chipping Norton. This is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge in the fashion industry and day-to-day operations of the e-commerce department.

Below is a list of the required intern duties however, there are opportunities for you to contribute more to the team depending on your performance, efficiency and ability to manage these existing duties. These opportunities include: design branding requirements such as packaging, stationary, store decals etc, assist team in e-commerce and campaign photo-shoots and much more! 

Tasks include:

  • Designing of digital artwork for website, EDMs and other marketing uses
  • Assisting in and creating content for social media
  • Preparing content for online upload- including resizing, retouching, colour matching etc.

FASHION DESIGN & PRODUCTION INTERNSHIP

Location: Head Office in Chipping Norton, NSW

 

Description:

We are looking for a highly proactive, passionate and creative Design & Production Intern to join our Head Office team located in Chipping Norton. This is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge in the fashion industry and gain insight into the garment production life cycle from design to store.

Below is a list of the required intern duties however, there will definitely be opportunities for you to contribute more to the team depending on your performance, efficiency and ability to manage these existing duties. These opportunities include sitting in on merchandise and fitting meetings, attend and help in seasonal campaign photo-shoots, assist in in-house photoshoots and much more.

Tasks include:

  • Researching current and upcoming fashion trends
  • Assist in developing and design ranges including sketching and technical
  • Assist in developing and designing artworks and prints
  • Assist in sourcing fabrics and trimmings for products
  • Document & prepare inbound and outbound of samples
  • Preparing and pressing ranges for photoshoots, fitting and merchandise meetings
  • Assist in ghost mannequin photography
  • Preparing detailed and technical product descriptions
  • Provide administrative support to design and production team

A successful applicant must have the below qualities:

  • A LOVE for the brand
  • Studying or graduated from a design related course
  • Proficient in Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
  • Creative and innovative

Must be available 1-2 days per week, preferably on Monday, Wednesday or Friday’s for a minimum of 3 months with an immediate start. This position is unpaid. Performance, productivity, efficiency and contribution to the team will highly be regarded be if a permanent position becomes available.

Internship can be accredited to relevant tertiary degree/study requirements. Travel expenses included if required. Performance referrals at completion of internship available upon request. Own laptop is preferred but not mandatory.

FIT MODEL

 

Position available: Fit Model (Casual)

Location: Head Office, Chipping Norton, NSW


Description:

We are currently in search for a size 8 Fit Model on a casual basis. You will be working alongside our Production & Design team at our Head Office located in Chipping Norton, NSW to provide valued feedback on the fit and comfort of garments during fit sessions.

 Requirements:

  • Good communication skills & attitude
  • Experience in fashion or fit modelling favoured but not required
  • Available on a casual basis every Tuesday for 3-8 hours

Measurements must be within the following:

  • Bust: 86-88cm
  • Waist: 67-69cm
  • Hips (largest part of hips): 93-95cm
  • Height: 170-175cm

Location: Head Office, Chipping Norton, NSW

 

Description:

Do you have a love for fashion, styling and is social media savvy? We have a great internship opportunity for those who are passionate about the world of fashion! This is a great opportunity to get involved with the creative process as well as great experience to build up your portfolio and to work behind the scenes and collaborative with the design, e-commerce and retail departments.  

Tasks include:

  • Research latest trends and create mood boards for style edit pages on website
  • Assisting stylist in styling outfits in line with brand direction for e-commerce store
  • Steaming and prepping garments required for eCommerce and Social Media photoshoots
  • Dressing the model on set for photoshoots
  • Assist in refining and selecting imagery for editing
