A look inside Forcast's annual International Women's Day event. On Friday 1st of March, Forcast brought together truly inspiring women in efforts to support, highlight and advocate for female equality. The Forcast brand is dedicated to empowering women through style - our pieces are designed to give confidence, freedom and adaptability to tell your own story and go after the life you want. We are proud to be part of so many of your inspiring stories and journeys as women.

Our International Women’s Day Event saw women from all walks of life come together under a common cause. Gender equality has been a stagnant issue for females globally for far too long now. This year's theme “Count Her In” aims to bridge this gap by providing equal opportunities through education, employment and financial services. Forcast’s IWD 2024 event provided a forum for women to voice their opinions and ideas on how we can better the circumstances for women across industries, and also celebrate the efforts many organisations and individuals continue to achieve for women globally. 

We welcomed two special guests, Monika Tu and Monica Lek. Each of them moved the room when they shared their personal journeys as females and business owners. Monika Tu specifically, shared how being a woman never held her back from going after what she wanted. She refused to let inequality get in the way of her success. Monika now owns two successful businesses and is a TV and media personality that continues to push boundaries as a female luxury real estate agent and migrant.  Monica Lek, Forcast’s Creative Director also shared her journey as a female in the retail industry. Monica told the room that rather than conforming to gender stereotypes she continuously pushed boundaries and advocated for females joining and growing within the business. “Without women, Forcast would not be where it is today”. She told the room that Forcast’s story was paved by the women within the business and the women that supported the brand through the ages - that is.. YOU, our dear customers.
