Styling a Suit - Work Together or Apart
"I love a good set! It’s what I wear when I don’t know what to wear and want to look put together. With that said I like styling it so that it’s not too corporate - for a tailored blazer with matching bottoms, I soften the look with a simple tank or knit like the Valentine. I’ll then pair it with ballet flats or kitten heels. When styled apart, I’ll wear the blazer with denim, a slip skirt or over a dress to elevate an everyday look. Or pair the trousers with a relaxed knit, or crisp shirt for an easy-to-weekend feel. Of course adding jewellery and belts elevates any of these looks!"
All In The Details
"One of my favourite things about suit sets is how simple details like shoulder details or buttons can really change the overall look. Some key blazer and suiting trends we’re seeing in 2026, are structured blazers with 80's inspired power shapes, and waist-defining silhouettes. I love that the built-in belts and cinched waists are everywhere at the moment! It’s so flattering! Collarless looks are also making a comeback as an alternative to the traditional lapels. Our soon to release Aaria Suit Set is ticking at least two of those buckets. You’re welcome!"
The Power of a Great Suit
"If anyone does a suit well, it’s Forcast. You can really tell when a suit is made well by how it sits on the body. The seams are clean, the shoulders and lapels lie flat, and the fabric holds its shape without pulling or sagging. Quality suiting feels comfortable yet structured, finishes neatly on the inside. My new favourite suit is of course this Aaria Set I’m wearing. It balances the masculine structure of suiting with feminine details. From the structured shoulders to the cinched tie-waist details, and the softly sculpted skirt silhouette."

How to Style Tops
"Depending on the style of the top, there's plenty of room to play! With a more casual top, layering a blazer over it can immediately change the vibe of the entire outfit and make it more formal. My personal tip would be to pair tops with tailored pants since it always brings an elevated style. For a more femme vibe, a midi or maxi skirt makes a beautiful pairing."
Tucked, Untucked or Layered
"Some individuals love styling their tops in a way that flatters their body shape or torso length, and others for the overall vibe of the outfit. For a chic look, it is beautiful to tuck the shirt into your pants. A loose look can be more comfortable and free moving, while layering tops add depth and versatility to your outfit allowing to easily transition from office to after hours."
Wearable Necklines for the Workday
"For everyday workwear, classic button-up shirts are a timeless choice, instantly adding an elevated style. V-necks create balance through the chest and neckline without feeling too low-cut, while boat necks offer an elegant, refined finish. If you struggle with crew-necks looking too casual for work, try opting for different fabrics like fine wool or a more fitted material for a sophisticated finish."

How to Choose the Right Work Pant for You
"Contemporary workwear now balances comfort with polish more than ever before. This shift is reflected in relaxed leg and waist silhouettes, inspired by menswear tailoring, that remain structured yet comfortable enough for all-day wear and easy styling - moving beyond the traditional heels-only office look.
Barrel-leg styles feel modern and fashion-forward, while relaxed wide-leg pleated trousers flatter most body types for an effortless work look. Style with a shirt or structured top and modern accessories for an easy, polished outfit!
Straighter-leg, classic flat front trousers like our Merid Tailored Pants, are ideal for a modern yet timeless corporate look. This silhouette avoids adding bulk at the waist or hips, making it a flattering option for many women."
What to Look for in An Ideal Work Pant
"When choosing work trousers, comfort for all-day movement is key! I always tailor and hem them to suit my everyday flats, good tailoring makes all the difference and is always worth the investment. It pays off, especially when it adds so much value to wearing the pants more often!
Consider temperature, layering needs and the office environment. Having some well-fitting light weight and heavier weight options are important for making sure your wardrobe is functional for your work lifestyle."
Building Confidence through Fit and Feel
"While our style and fashion choices reflect ourselves or how we present ourselves at work, true confidence comes from clothes that fit well and feel comfortable. Well-tailored, versatile pieces, like properly fitting work pants allow ease of movement and help someone feel polished and efficient.
Don't be afraid of colour or fun accessories like belts or jewellery to keep your wardrobe fresh and fun. If our work style feels like a uniform then it will be hard to feel your best!"

How to Style Work Dresses
Fashion fades, style is eternal - Yves Saint Laurent
"Work dresses are highly versatile and can be styled to suit a range of workplace settings. A blazer adds instant structure and polish, while knitwear - such as a cardigan tied over the shoulders brings warmth and texture in cooler months. Finishing touches like belts, shoes and jewellery help elevate the look and tailor it to your workplace."
Understanding Work Dress Silhouettes
"From A-Line to mini and relaxed styles, choosing the right dress silhouette can make all the difference to how you look and feel at work.
A-Line silhouettes are universally flattering for all body shapes as it balances proportions with a fitted waist and a soft flare skirt. Fitted styles skim the body for a sleek and tailored finish, while relaxed silhouettes offer structure without clinging to your body - these styles deliver effortless workwear while still maintaining professionalism."
Must-Have Features in a Work Dress
"When choosing a work dress, details matter. Breathable fabrics like cotton and linen ensure comfort, while appropriate sleeves, stretch and a flattering length support all-day wear. Features such as smooth lining and functional side pockets add ease and everyday convenience during busy workdays!"

Knitwear Silhouettes for the Workday
"For the workday, I think feeling comfortable is essential and that’s where knitwear really works. I’ve always believed that clothes speak for you, so for me, the most important thing is wearing pieces you genuinely like, while still being right for the place you’re in. Having said that, fitted and relaxed knit silhouettes are ideal for tucking into tailored bottoms. "
How to Style Knitwear for Work
"When it comes to styling knitwear for work, I love neutral basics. They’re easy, timeless and work with everything. You can wear them with tailored pants or skirts, add a few accessories and you’re ready. Knit dresses are also a great option with a blazer and boots, or in summer with flats, a belt and simple accessories. Knitwear is so versatile that it easily works for after office with just a few tweaks!"
Features That Makes Knitwear a Workwear Essential
"When choosing good knitwear, quality is important. It should feel comfortable, breathable and easy to wear. It’s uncomplicated, easy to care for, simple to style and something you can rely on every day - it just works. I can say it’s the perfect match for workwear."
